We drank all that wine…

now what do we do with all these corks??

My Grandmother used to collect all our family and friends corks to make wreathes. She always adorned them with a large fake cluster of grapes and a pretty ribbon. When I moved into my first apartment after college, she gifted me one that I hung proudly in my foyer.

I would watch my Grandmother glue her creations together as a young child, but I actually never learned her techniques. Luckily a lot of folks have been kind to share their creativity with how-to tutorials. I have managed to repurpose many of our corks – I’ve lined deep kitchen drawers with them, and we actually have a couple large cork balls in our kitchen.  We even used them as name card holders at our wedding!

Below are many ideas on how you can use your collection of wine corks.
