Cranberry and vodka go together like Santa and Rudolph. This cocktail is refreshing and festive in flavor and style. Want to give the cocktail a special holiday sparkle? Top the drink with a splash of something bubbly, like seltzer or club soda.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 3 oz Cranberry Juice, preferably 100% cranberry juice
- 1 oz Orange Juice, preferably fresh squeezed
- Optional: Top with Seltzer or Club Soda
Garnish
- Fresh Cranberries
- Fresh Rosemary sprigs
Build the garnish up to three hours before serving. To make the cocktail garnish, use fresh rosemary sprigs, removing the bottom leaves, exposing approximately 2-3″ long of just the twig. With careful force, press 2-3 fresh cranberries onto the end of the rosemary sprig. Repeat as needed.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vodka, cranberry juice and the fresh squeezed orange juice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled glass. Optional to top with your holiday sparkler of choice, such as seltzer or club soda. Garnish with the cranberry rosemary sprigs and serve immediately. Cheers!
