Hot Apple Bourbon Cider

When the snow is falling, there is nothing better than sitting by the blazing fire (including socially distanced bonfires) while sipping on hot cider in the presence of family & friends. That is unless it’s spiked with bourbon! Even here in south Florida, it was 47 this morning. I think that justifies this hot cocktail. Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Fresh Apple Cider
  • 2 Cups+ Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1 tsp  Ground Cinnamon
  • Pinch of Nutmeg
  • Fresh Cranberries for garnish

Bring the cider, cinnamon & nutmeg to just below a soft boil over medium heat. When the cider is hot, take off the heat and add the bourbon. Serve warm and garnish with fresh cranberries. Enjoy in the company of warm friends and a hot fire.
